Planning and getting on top of things
Hi All,
Hope you are all having an awesome day.
This last two weeks I have been working on getting myself organised. You know when everything gets a bit much? Studying, running a household, being an active family member and friend, working, etc. Everywhere you go you are reminded of something to do which you need to try and remember until you can write it down? Well, it’s been a month or so like that.
That is why I’m really pleased to be working with Mal Paper. Using their Daily Goal Setter journal has been an absolute game-changer for me over the last couple of weeks. It has a sleek faux leather classic look with a document holder which means you can pop in receipts etc without worrying about them falling out.
It’s the perfect size for carrying round in my bag and I have now even got myself a week ahead at work and ticked off all those random jobs - sorting out vehicle tax and completing my uni paperwork!
What I absolutely love about this planner is that it breaks your time into days, weeks and months so you can organise your goals for each.
I start using the planner at home in the morning writing down the days to-do list but also, each day there is a gratitude prompt and a daily affirmation prompt. Writing these out first has put me in a positive mind frame before I write my daily to-do list which as led me to be more optimistic on the tasks I set for myself for the day.
I also love the positive quotes at the bottom of each daily page and a few positive quotes spread throughout the journal which just boost those positive vibes while you’re goal setting.
There’s a great weekly review section where you can write down your most important tasks for the week and split them up into their importance.
I really like the month review where you have a calendar spread and can write your most important tasks for the month. My spread is about to be hit with loads of study sessions so I’ll update you shortly with how it’s looking when I’ve scheduled in everything.
Having the pages undated is great as there as you don’t get that sad feeling if you go a day without writing in it or if you have too much for one day’s page!
Mal Paper have given some tips to goal setting at the start of the journal to show you how to set some achievable goals. They’ve also given you ways to have a great morning and evening routine to boost your goal-setting and have a positive day.
This planner has been an absolute game changer for me. Before I started using it, I was writing my to-dos on scraps of paper or just trying to remember everything I had to do each day.
